Uniform

What Uniform do the Children Wear in School?

At Horton Park, we are successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens. An important part of this is having the correct uniform and PE kit. Whilst it has been fantastic to see our pupils arrive dressed smartly in their uniform, I must stress the importance of all pupils abiding by our uniform policy and the expectations for how they present themselves in school. Please see the reminders below.

If there are any particular issues around uniform, such as certain items are yet to arrive or indeed any other issues, please contact your child’s class teacher in the first instance.

Please Note:

  • Your child/ren may come dressed in their PE clothing on the day they have PE. There is no need to bring their school uniform in a bag as they will remain in their PE kits for the entire day.
  • If your child brings in a packed lunch, water will be provided in school and they do not need to bring in any drinks from home.

Financial hardship

We are here to support families struggling with the cost of uniform. If you require help, please come speak to us.

The school also has a stock of second-hand uniform available to families; please contact the school office for further information.

PLEASE NOTE: Families can obtain all items of uniform (other than the branded jumper/cardigan) from a wide range of retailers (including supermarkets) to allow them to seek best value for money.

DO NOT SEND EXPENSIVE CLOTHING OR COATS INTO SCHOOL: Any property or clothing brought into school is at the parent or carers’ own risk and the school and governors can not accept responsibility for loss or damage of these items.
